You do not need a doctor’s referral to attend physiotherapy or massage therapy, though some extended health plans may require one for coverage.

Typically the best thing to wear is something comfortable – something you might be going to the gym in or something you’re able to move freely in. We recommend wearing shorts if your area of concern is the lower body, and a tank top if it’s the upper body.

Yes! We accept all ICBC and WSBC claims with a valid claim number. For motor vehicle accidents occurring on or after April 1st, 2019, treatments must take place within 12 weeks of the date of the accident. For motor vehicle accidents occurring before April 1st, 2019, fees apply to the remainder of the preauthorized treatments and approved extensions. For workplace injuries, please check that your claim is either pending or accepted to ensure that your appointments are approved.

There is partial provincial coverage for qualifying clients. Please inquire with our staff for more information.

Our services are covered by most extended health plans. Please inquire with your insurance provider for information regarding coverage. Please check your eligibility with your extended healthcare provider before your first visit. We are unable to look into the specifics of your insurance policy due to privacy regulations.

We are pleased to offer online direct billing for your convenience. Some of the available insurance companies include Pacific Blue Cross, Green Shield, Manulife, Medavie Blue Cross, Canada Life, Desjardins, Chambers of Commerce, and Sun Life. Please note that all treatment fees are the responsibility of the client. In the event that online direct billing is not available under your policy plan, a receipt will be provided for you to submit to your extended health carrier.

Of course, we understand things sometimes come up in life and you can’t make it to your appointment. In the event that you are unable to make it to your appointment time, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance in order to avoid a cancellation fee which will be equivalent to the full rate of your appointment. This is because at Ace Wellness, we value everyone’s time and we want as many patients and clients to be able to come in at an available time.
